Care Instructions:

Hand Wash: Wash with lukewarm water using a mild non-alkaline shampoo/soap or baby shampoo. While rinsing, you can add a few tablespoons of distilled white vinegar to the rinse water to neutralise alkali traces and dissolve soap residue. You may add a few drops of hair conditioner to the finalise rinse water for an extra silky feel.

Please note: Hand wash is preferred to prolong the life your delicate silk items.

Machine Wash: Turn inside out and place inside a fine mesh laundy bag. Wash on a cold delicates cycle using a mild non alkaline detergent with a low ph. Avoid heavy chemicals such as alkaline or bleach as they will harden the silk. Run on the shortest spin cycle possible and ensure there are no sharp elements or other fabrics in the machine that could cause damage.

Drying: Silk dries quickly so please do not put in a dryer or wring the fabric. Roll in a towel to remove excess water. Air dry in the shade as prolonged periods of direct sunlight will damage the silk fabric. If needed, iron the pillowcase on the reverse side on a cool setting.
